Bad Relationships will Cluttering Your Mind!
How often do you keep things that you know you’ll never use or need again? You keep these things for “just in case” purposes. Before you know it, clutter is all around you. Why not trash it? You’ve made yourself believe that you need to save it… just in case. I’d venture to say this is how people become hoarders.
Google definition for Hoarders:
Hoarding disorder is a persistent difficulty discarding or parting with possessions because of a perceived need to save them. A person with hoarding disorder experiences distress at the thought of getting rid of the items.
Some of you are mental hoarders. You handle your relationships the same way! You’re in these miserable relationships thats causing you more harm than good. You know it’s over, you know it has run its course. You’re holding on just in case it gets better. This same bad relationship has been in the same bad status for years. You’re miserable and your mate is miserable. Stop telling yourself that you can save a relationship that’s making you miserable and dysfunctional. Focus on saving yourself.
It’s one thing to hold on to something valuable that’s a work in progress. It’s another thing to hold on to something that’s harming you by cluttering your mind, heart and soul. When you remove the clutter physically and mentally, you make room for something better.
